Decks 2.8.1 — scratchpad

This release adds a scratchpad to review — a surface for working out an answer by drawing or typing before you reveal the card.

Draw or type while reviewing

A pen button sits with the card's other controls, just before the card-actions menu, in normal review, browse, and cram. It opens a scratchpad over the card with a surface you can draw on by finger, mouse, or pen, and a text box for typed notes. The toolbar has pen, eraser, text, undo, clear, and close. The rating and reveal buttons stay in place below the scratchpad.

Per card, not saved

The scratchpad is scoped to the current card and isn't stored. Its drawing and text clear when you move to the next card or close the session.
