Withdrawal and Refunds

This is a convenience translation. The German version is the legally binding one.

This page tells consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB who their purchase contract is with, how the statutory right of withdrawal is handled for an immediately provided digital service, and how to end a subscription.

1. Your purchase contract is with Lemon Squeezy

DecksMD Pro subscriptions are sold through Lemon Squeezy LLC acting as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy is therefore your contractual counterparty for the purchase and handles payment processing, invoicing, VAT, and the handling of withdrawal and refunds.

We provide the technical service itself, governed by our Terms of Service.

2. Withdrawal for immediately provided digital services

Consumers generally have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal for contracts concluded at a distance.

DecksMD Pro is a digital service available to you immediately on conclusion of the contract. During checkout you are therefore asked to declare expressly that:

1. performance should begin before the withdrawal period expires, and
2. you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins.

If you give that declaration and performance begins accordingly, the right of withdrawal expires (§ 356 (5) BGB, Art. 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive). You are informed of this consequence separately during checkout.

If you do not give it, performance begins only after the withdrawal period has expired, and your right of withdrawal remains until then.

Beyond that statutory position we offer no separate money-back or return guarantee.

3. How to raise a withdrawal or refund

Because the purchase contract is concluded with Lemon Squeezy, please direct withdrawal or refund requests to them:

4. Cancelling your subscription

Independently of the right of withdrawal, you may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period — in your account or through Lemon Squeezy’s customer portal.

Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. No pro-rata refund is given for the unused part of a current billing period on cancellation. See the Terms of Service for details.

5. If we suspend your access

If we suspend your access for reasons not attributable to you, we refund the unused portion of the paid period pro rata. See section 6 of the Terms of Service.
